Kettle
Foods Website www.kettlefoods.com
Kettle Foods was no longer a small mom-and-pop business; they were a growing
company with over 50 products being distributed worldwide. Working with Leopold
Ketel Ad Agency, we created a new online presence for Kettle Foods. Their website
was redesigned to reach a broader audience and to tell the company's rich history
in taste and corporate sustainability.

It all began with a vision and a van—a vision to fuse the natural with
the savory, to create a great-tasting, wholesome product for everyone. And a
beat-up van that would later be known as the original Kettle Foods delivery
truck.
The year was 1978. Ramen noodles and instant breakfast sandwiches had just been
introduced into the market and America was eating up the fast food fad. So,
with a few pounds of gourmet cheese, roasted nuts and trail mixes, Cameron Healy
drove his new healthy vision down Oregon's I-5. He began introducing quality
natural foods into the everyday lives of Oregonians. "I believe all people
deserve products of natural integrity that not only taste good, but are good
for you," said Healy, "and so I began with this idea to provide wholesome
products to everyone. I had no master plan," he said, "but I knew
that the priority for quality lifestyles and values would continue to grow."
And he was right.
In 1982, the Kettle Foods community was born. And the first natural, hand-cooked
potato chip was introduced to the Western US. Using only premium Russet potatoes
grown on local Pacific Northwest farms, the Kettle™ brand Chip is a perfect
blend of natural flavor and hand crafted precision, creating a distinct and
unforgettable full potato taste.
Over the past twenty years, the Kettle Foods family has become home to more
than 600 employees internationally. Our growing list of products, from smooth
nut butters to zesty organic tortilla chips, can be found throughout the US,
Canada, Japan, Guam and Western Europe. Our hard work has not only created award-winning
natural products, but has pioneered some of the most innovative grassroots projects
in the country - from restoring our local wetlands to erecting one of the largest
solar arrays in the Pacific Northwest.
But most importantly, Kettle Foods remains a privately held company and continues
to produce great-tasting innovative products under the same leadership that
created it 26 years ago.
